Can I change my registered subjects for this term? (Change of Matriculation)

If you find that you've already registered for your courses but realized that you need to change the courses you've registered for, you need to apply for a Change of Matriculation by following the instructions on https://registrar.upou.edu.ph/change-matriculation/


(Update as of 1T 2024-2025) To process a change of matriculation, here are the instructions for three (3) cases which best fit your case:


CASE 1: How to Remove a Course
If you need to remove a course, please follow these steps:
  1. Download the Change of Matriculation Form: You can find it here: Change of Matriculation Form.

  2. Filling Out the Form:

    • In Column 1, mark CANCEL. 
    • Under the COURSE table
      • FROM:  list the course you need to unenroll.
      • TO: write N/A.
    • Instructor’s signature is not required, so you can skip that part.
    • Select the reason that best applies to your situation.
  3. Payment:
    You will need to pay a Change of Matriculation fee of ₱10.00. You can check available payment options here: Payment of Fees.

  4. Submit Your Documents:
    Once you’ve completed the form, please submit a ticket through the AADDA Freshdesk with the subject format: INSERT TRIMESTER_CoM (ex. 1T 24-25_CoM). Make sure to include the following attachments:

    • A screenshot of the email advising you to unenroll (if applicable)
    • Your completed Change of Matriculation Form
    • Proof of payment
    • An updated Plan of Study (PoS)
  5. Important Reminder:
    The AADDA Program Support will handle getting the necessary signatures on your behalf. Please do not email or send your form to any other address aside from BAMS Freshdesk.

  6. Next Steps:
    Once your request is processed, you will receive an update via email from the Faculty Secretary Support at fics.fsec.support@upou.edu.ph.


CASE 2: How to Add a Course

If you need to add a course, please follow these steps:

  1. Download the Change of Matriculation Form: You can find it here: Change of Matriculation Form.

  2. Filling Out the Form:

    • In Column 1, mark ADD.
    • Under the COURSE table
      • FROM:  wite N/A
      • TO: list the course you need to enroll.
    • Instructor’s signature is not required, so you can skip that part.
    • Select the reason that best applies to your situation.
  3. Payment:
    You will need to pay a Change of Matriculation fee of ₱10.00. You can check available payment options here: Payment of Fees.

  4. Submit Your Documents:
    Once you’ve completed the form, please submit a ticket through the AADDA Freshdesk with the subject format: INSERT TRIMESTER_CoM (ex. 1T 24-25_CoM). Make sure to include the following attachments:

    • Your completed Change of Matriculation Form
    • Proof of payment
    • An updated Plan of Study (PoS)

CASE 3: How to Change Courses
If you need to change your courses, please follow these steps:
  1. Download the Change of Matriculation Form: You can find it here: Change of Matriculation Form.

  2. Filling Out the Form:

    • In Column 1, mark CHANGE.
    • Under the COURSE table
      • FROM: list the course you need to unenroll.
      • TO: list the course you need to enroll (this will replace the course you are unenrolling).
    • Instructor’s signature is not required, so you can skip that part.
    • Select the reason that best applies to your situation.
  3. Payment:
    You will need to pay a Change of Matriculation fee of ₱10.00. You can check available payment options here: Payment of Fees.

  4. Submit Your Documents:
    Once you’ve completed the form, please submit a ticket through the AADDA Freshdesk with the subject format: INSERT TRIMESTER_CoM (ex. 1T 24-25_CoM). Make sure to include the following attachments:

    • A screenshot of the email advising you to unenroll (if applicable)
    • Your completed Change of Matriculation Form
    • Proof of payment
    • An updated Plan of Study (PoS)

  6. Next Steps:
    Once your request is processed, you will receive an update via email from the Faculty Secretary Support at fics.fsec.support@upou.edu.ph.


You can file for a Change of Matriculation classes within one week after the start of classes. 


Example: For the 3rd Trimester of AY 2018-2019, classes start on 11 May 2019, which means you can apply for a Change of Matriculation until 17 May 2019.
