While applications for cross-registering are not always granted, you are welcome to apply to cross-enroll in a limited number of classes, provided you understand the following:
- You can take only the following courses or types of courses in another UP campus unit:

- CWTS courses
- PI 100
- GE courses, but only those that contribute towards the completion of your AADDA degree
- There is a difference in the trimestral and semestral schedules between campuses. This could
- You can only take a maximum of 50% of your courses from another campus unit for you to receive a degree from UPOU.

Can I cross-enroll for classes that do not contribute to my degree?
If a course does not directly contribute to the AADDA curriculum that you are taking, you cannot apply to cross-enroll it while you are an AADDA student. You are of course free to take whatever enrichment and training courses you wish outside of UPOU; however, unless they meet the criteria listed above, these courses generally cannot be used to earn credits that can contribute to your AADDA degree requirements.
Example: You wish to enroll in HAPON 11 at UP Diliman, but HAPON 11 does not contribute to the AADDA degree. You can attempt to enroll in HAPON 11 as a Special Student Without Credit at UP Diliman, though you should disclose that you are a regular student at UP Open University. If UP Diliman allows you to enroll HAPON 11 as Special Student Without Credit, you do not need to seek permission to cross-enroll from the AADDA Program Chair, but neither will the AADDA Program Chair help you with any inquiries related to HAPON 11.
However, you should keep in mind that AASSis a challenging program. You should think very carefully about whether the extra demands placed by an extracurricular class may endanger your academic performance.
Can we also take our GE Elective Courses and Common Courses in another UP campus or is it only exclusive for GE Core Courses?
All GE courses (both GE Elective and GE Core courses alike) can be cross-enrolled. Note, however, that Common Courses are not available in other campuses.
Can UPOU staff help me with enrollment issues on another campus?
UPOU will not be able to assist you with enrollment issues at other campuses other than to provide permission to cross-enroll.
